2011-2012
Plant Commissioned
- CMJ Breweries established its greenfield brewery in Meghalaya with an initial installed capacity of 100,000 HL per annum.
- During this phase, the company commenced contract manufacturing for Mohan Meakins Ltd, a well-established national brand, marking the beginning of strong industry partnerships.
2012-2013
1st Expansion
- Capacity was expanded from 100,000 HL per annum to 200,000 HL per annum.
- During this period, CMJ launched its own brands Magpie, Savage, and Nutcracker strengthening its market presence and brand portfolio.
December 2014
2nd Expansion
- Capacity increased from 200,000 HL per annum to 300,000 HL per annum.

Key developments during this phase included:
- Installation of a canning unit with a capacity of 16,000 cans per hour (CPH)
- Introduction of a Pull-Off Cap facility

December 2015
3rd Expansion
- Capacity expanded from 300,000 HL per annum to 400,000 HL per annum.
- CMJ Breweries also began exports to Europe under the brands Himalayan Monkey and Shimla, marking its entry into international markets.
March 2018
4th Expansion
- Capacity increased from 400,000 HL per annum to 500,000 HL per annum, further strengthening production capabilities and scalability.
May 2020
5th Expansion
- Capacity expanded from 500,000 HL per annum to 700,000 HL per annum.
- Production under the expanded capacity commenced in May 2020.
