2011-2012
Plant Commissioned
- CMJ Breweries established its greenfield brewery in Meghalaya with an initial annual installed capacity of 100,000 HL/PA
- Commenced contract manufacturing for Mohan Meakins Ltd, a well-established national brand.
2012-2013
1st Expansion
- Capacity increased from 100,000 HL/PA to 200,000 HL/PA
- CMJ launched its own brands: Magpie, Savage, and Nutcracker.
December 2014
2nd Expansion
- Capacity increased from 200,000 HL/PA to 300,000 HL/PA
- Introduced a canning unit with 16,000 CPH and Pull-Off Cap facility.

December 2015
3rd Expansion
- Capacity expanded from 300,000 HL/PA to 400,000 HL/PA
- Began exports to Europe under the brands Himalayan Monkey and Shimla.
March 2018
4th Expansion
- Capacity increased from 400,000 HL/PA to 500,000 HL/PA
May 2020
5th Expansion
- Capacity expanded from 500,000 HL/PA to 700,000 HL/PA
- Production began in May 2020.
Current Status
Current Status
- Installed capacity: Currently 700,000 HL/PA per annum and planning to expand by 900,000 HL/PA by March 2026
